This Collection contains images and documents from the Seidel family from Tipton, Nemaha County, Kansas. Xaverius Seidel was born in Baden, Germany and moved to New York City where he died young. Charles Seidel was born in New York City on August 27, 1861 and around 1884 moved with his mother and step-father to Kansas. There Charles met and married Sophie F. Boehner who was born in Wuerttemberg, Germany. Seven sons were born to Charles and Sophie F. Seidel.
