Giuseppe and Giuseppina, step siblings via the marriage of Domenico and Antonina Scaletta, married each other and spent their initial time in Omaha, Ne. In May of 1897 they had their first child, Lena Bondi. This photo shows Lena holding the baby Mary, Eva in the middle, and Libby. Their father Giuseppe worked as a fruit vendor and laborer. It is believed they lived in California as well for a short time.
